Mr. Young is a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Denver, Colorado, providing financial advisory, brokerage, asset management and other financial services. His financial advisory practice focuses on the special needs of international companies, large and small, international executive investment planning, and other professionals and organizations working within the global community.

Mr. Young brings over twenty years of experience from executive level positions in Japan, Germany, and the U.S. He has worked within the Colorado international community for 12 years, primarily with small and mid-sized companies, preparing them for growth and expansion into international marketplaces. He is fluent in both German and English.

Mr. Bennett is a principal with Granite Consulting Group Inc advising companies on business development strategy and implementation, market and competitive analysis, business plan development and review, and long-term domestic and international sales and operations strategy and implementation.

Mr. Bennett’s experience includes over 22 years of professional experience in domestic and international sales, marketing, operations and general management in the U.S., Germany and Sweden. His background encompasses strategic business development, sales, marketing, operations, product development, program development, project management and over eight years of Internet and multimedia marketing experience for start up and established companies. A serial entrepreneur, he has helped many companies both in the U.S. and internationally with their strategic business planning.

Mr. Bennett is a graduate of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas with an MBA in Marketing and Operations. He also holds an MA degree in Telecommunication from Michigan State University where his undergraduate work was in Electrical Engineering, German and Music. Mr. Bennett speaks fluent English, technical and business German and conversational French.

Paul Maricle

An attorney at law, Mr. Maricle has over 25 years of experience representing German companies and individuals in business matters in the United States as well as advising U.S. companies doing business abroad.  His clients are involved in machine tool manufacturing, consulting, sporting goods manufacture and marketing, import and sale of non-alcoholic beverages; export of food products; alternative energy component manufacturers (solar and wind), manufacturing, and mining. 

Mr. Maricle is a founding member of the German American Chamber of Commerce in Colorado, has served two terms as the GACC’s president and is currently a member of the board of directors.

Mr. Maricle obtained his undergraduate degree in German and his law degree at Washburn University. He studied at the Friedrich-Wilhelms Universtät in Bonn, Germany and participated in the German Academic Exchange Service’s (DAAD) Young Lawyers Program in 1982-83 in Düsseldorf.  He is fluent in English and German.

Inge Frerichs

A real estate professional serving the domestic US and the international markets in Germany and Belize, Ms. Frerichs applies over 20 years of international business experience to the needs of her clients. She is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado who assists investors both in the United States and throughout the world to purchase and sell first and second homes and investment properties.

Ms. Frerichs is one of only 1,900 real estate professionals throughout the world who have earned the prestigious Certified International Property Specialist designation recognizing her as an expert in the world of international real estate transactions. Her interest in the international arena was piqued while attending school and working as an Insurance Manager for a brokerage firm when she travelled the globe with track and soccer teams. Subsequently she relocated to the US in 1986 for work with international cultural exchange programs.

As a member of the International Real Estate Federation, or FIABCI, she has access to the business club of real estate professionals in 60 countries; and the related federation of 100 national real estate associations throughout the world to better assist her international clients.

A voting member on the Government Affairs and the International Steering Committees of the Denver Board of Realtors ^® as well as a member of the National Association of Realtors ^®, Ms. Frerichs supports and encourages closer relations between the Immobilien Verband Deutschland (German Realtors Association) and the National Association of Realtors^®. She has also been active with "Global Denver" (www.DenverGlobal.org), an organization recognizing the international and ethnic communities of the Metro Denver region and enhancing Denver’s visibility throughout the world.

Karl Schmidt

Mr. Schmidt is the President and CEO of Karl W. Schmidt & Associates Inc., located in Commerce City, Colorado, a manufacturer of equipment for the recycling industries world-wide. He brings over 41 years of industry experience in recycling to his company which has been in business since 1978.

Mr. Schmidt’s company manufactures superior equipment for the recycling industry and its name appears on thousands of machines in many different industries serving a variety of different applications. Schmidt has assembled a team of long-term employees, as well as many manufacturing and licensing partnerships, supporting the development of unrivaled product and systems for the industries the company serves. Mr. Schmidt was a founding member of the GACC-CO and has actively supported German cultural activities in Colorado as well as promoting international business. He is a native of Germany and is fluent in both German and English.

Christopher Bartlett

Mr. Bartlett is a principal with Anthrope Communications LLC, a Denver-based marketing and branding agency.  He brings with him a solid background in brand management and marketing experience in Germany and the US. European clients he has worked for include Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Bank, Initiative Media in London, Detecon Consulting, Imperia Software, T-Systems and British telecom. In the US he has worked for Vintage Partners, a brand consulting firm, Texture Media Inc. and Vermilion Inc.

Originally from Berlin, Germany, Mr. Bartlett lived in Munich, London and San Francisco  prior to moving to Colorado. He holds a joint MBA from the Freie Universität Berlin and South Bank University in London. He is fluent in both German and English.
