| Paul Maricle Board Member maricle(at)gacc-co.org Paul T. Maricle, Attorney at Law
Paul Maricle has over 25 years of experience representing German companies and individuals in business matters in the United States as well as advising U.S. companies doing business abroad. His clients are involved in machine tool manufacturing, consulting, sporting goods manufacture and marketing, import and sale of non-alcoholic beverages; export of food products; alternative energy component manufacturers (solar and wind), manufacturing, and mining. Mr. Maricle is a founding member of the German American Chamber of Commerce in Colorado, has served two terms as the GACC’s president and is currently a member of the board of directors. Mr. Maricle obtained his undergraduate degree in German and his law degree at Washburn University. He studied at the Friedrich-Wilhelms Universtät in Bonn, Germany and participated in the German Academic Exchange Service’s (DAAD) Young Lawyers Program in 1982-83 in Düsseldorf. | Fred Beisser Board Member beisser(at)gacc-co.org Fred is also available for board of director situations where bridging the gap between German and American differences is important. Fred retired from his long-held position as Senior Vice President - Finance with PlanGraphics, Inc. in November 2009. Prior to that he also held board of director and senior executive positions with Integrated Spatial Information Solutions, Inc. and DCX, Inc. All three were publicly traded companies. In 1989 his 25 year career with the U.S. Air Force came to and end. His experience there included accounting and financial management positions around the world. As a result, in addition to English, his mother tongue, he is fluent in German and also reads, writes and speaks Turkish. He also is a Colorado certified public accountant and holds an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and a BSBA from the Colorado State University - Pueblo. Fred is a member of the board of trustees of the Elbert County Library District, a board member of East Central Council of Governments, president of the Elbert County Libraries Foundation and a member of the board of directors of the German American Chamber of Commerce - Colorado. Originally from Wisconsin, Fred's two emancipated children live in San Francisco Bay Area where he also has two darling granddaughters.
He has an abiding interest in Germany where he spent eight years and in Turkey where he worked for four years. Interests include genealogy, skiing, hunting and cattle ranching. |

| Michael Irion Board Member irion(at)gacc-co.org Michael Irion successfully completed his German law degrees at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg and at the Landgericht in Chemnitz, Germany before moving to the US. He furthermore received his MBA degree from Regis University in Denver and currently works as an individual consultant for TIAA-CREF, a not-for-profit financial services company. | 
| John Bennett Board Member bennett(at)gacc-co.org John has over 22 years of professional experience including 19+ years domestic and international sales, marketing, operations and general management experience in the U.S., Germany and Sweden. His experience includes strategic business development, sales, marketing, operations, product development, program development, project management and 8+ years Internet and multimedia marketing experience for start up and established companies. He is a serial entrepreneur and has helped many companies both in the U.S. and internationally with their strategic business planning.
John is now a business consultant where he advises companies on business development strategy and implementation, market and competitive analysis, business plan development and review, and long-term domestic and international sales and operations strategy and implementation.
John is a graduate of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX with an MBA in Marketing and Operations. He is also a graduate of Michigan State University with an MA degree in Telecommunication. His undergraduate work was in Electrical Engineering, German and Music at Michigan State University. John speaks fluent English, technical and business German and conversational French. |
