POSITION_REQUIREMENTS | Our client is a global enterprise and one of the leading German manufactures of transformers and other motor products for special niche applications. The Company is well known for its experience in the transformer and reactor manufacturing. The Company is known for its excellent products, high standards, and great customer service. The Company believes in creating long-term successful partnerships with its customers and employees. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS The General Manager is a key position for The Company. His/her experience will include both a sales development background in the inverter industry (including experience in new products, new markets) and successfully setting up a “Greenfield” operation for a European company. This position will report to the executive team in Germany. The General Manager North America will be a decisive executive who understands the culture and business approaches of the NA market. His/her main objective will be to achieve sales, and build a successful NA manufacturing organization. RES Based in Denver Colorado USA, the General Manager North America will be a senior representative of the Company in North America. He/she will play an active role in not only the North American sales activities but also be in charge of the new NA manufacturing facilities. This position offers the exciting professional challenge of developing a new venture. |
QUALIFICATIONS | REQUIREMENTS: - A minimum of 5 years experience in the supply chain for the inverter market, including 2 years in solar. - 3 to 5 years of experience, in positions of increasing responsibility, in sales and manufacturing management. - Have experience in market planning and successful execution of sales plans. - - Have a solid understanding of business analysis, financial planning, planning, and market forecasting and competitor analysis. This individual will: - - Be fluent in German and English - Build market share for the Company in the USA. - Successfully start a Greenfield manufacturing operation in the USA. - Manage the retention of customers by building long term relationships. - A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably one in business administration. - Additional education in any area of sales, business development or membership in industry organizations (for example AWEA) would be helpful.
